Albuquerque, NM (September 21, 2023) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a train on Thursday, September 21, 2023. The tragic incident occurred on Prosperity Ave SW, near Second St SW. Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the death.
Due to the crash, authorities closed all lanes of Prosperity Ave SW and Second St SW. The cause behind the collision remains undetermined. The investigations into the incident are currently underway.
