Grants, NM – Fatal Collision on I-40 Near MM 89 Injures One

Grants, NM (April 24, 2024) – A fatal accident occurred on I-40 near mile marker 89, close to Grants. The crash involved a Honda passenger vehicle and a commercial vehicle. The incident took place as the Honda, traveling west, attempted to exit at mile marker 89. It sharply turned, spun out, and stopped on the interstate. Following this, a commercial vehicle collided with the Honda.

A passenger in the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver sustained injuries and was transported to UNM Hospital. There were no further injuries reported.

Albuquerque, NM – Fatal Crash Involving Motorcycle at Central AVE NE & Elizabeth ST NE

Albuquerque, NM (April 21, 2024) – A tragic incident occurred at the intersection of Central AVE NE and Elizabeth ST NE around 5:40 p.m. yesterday, initially reported as a severe injury crash involving a motorcycle. Albuquerque, NM – Pedestrian Fatality on Central AVE and Louisiana BLVD

Albuquerque, NM – Fatal Collision at Coors Blvd NW & Sevilla Ave NW Leads to Arrest

Albuquerque, NM (April 7. 2024) – A tragic car crash at the intersection of Coors Blvd NW and Sevilla Ave NW in northwest Albuquerque on Saturday resulted in one fatality and led to an arrest. Albuquerque Police reported that Isaiah Sena, driving a Ford Mustang northbound on Coors Blvd, attempted to overtake another vehicle, allegedly initiating a race. Sena ran a red light, colliding with a Ford Edge turning onto southbound Coors Blvd. The collision caused both cars to spin into traffic lanes. Waterflow, NM – Fatal Camp Trailer Fire on Rd 6940 Results in One Death and Injuries

Waterflow, NM (April 5, 2024) – Early Wednesday, April 3, a deadly fire in a camp trailer claimed one life in Waterflow, located on Rd 6940. San Juan County Fire & Rescue, assisted by Farmington Fire Department, responded to the emergency just after 4 a.m.

Upon arrival, crews discovered the trailer ablaze with one individual trapped inside and another sustaining injuries. The injured person received prompt medical treatment and was later released from the hospital. Unfortunately, the individual inside the trailer was found deceased after the fire was extinguished.

The San Juan County Joint Fire & Explosion Investigation Task Force is currently investigating the cause of the fire.

Albuquerque, NM – Motorcyclist Fatality in Collision with Sedan at 86th St and Sedge Creek Rd SW

Albuquerque, NM (April 1, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Saturday, March 30, at the intersection of 86th St and Sedge Creek Rd SW around 6:30 pm. Albuquerque Police report the motorcyclist collided with the driver’s side of a sedan making a left turn onto 86th.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The sedan’s driver sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized.
