Hobbs, NM (November 8, 2023) – A suspected drunk driver, Randy Nahun Martinez, 19, caused havoc early Sunday, November 5, plowing into six pedestrians and numerous vehicles at Corral Arena’s parking area. The 1 a.m. chaos resulted in several injuries. Martinez showed clear signs of impairment when officials arrived and his breathalyzer results confirmed he was over the legal limit.
Victims were rushed to Covenant Hobbs Health Hospital, with one requiring airlift to Lubbock for advanced care. Further details on their conditions have yet to be released. Local authorities have taken over the ongoing probe into the distressing event.
