Edgewood, NM (July 25, 2023) – The Edgewood Police Department is investigating a tragic fatal crash in the area.
It resulted in a water truck overturning and claiming the truck driver’s life. The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. on Monday, July 24th, 2023.
According to initial reports, an SUV collided with a Freightliner water truck, causing it to flip over and land upside down on its roof.
Tragically, the truck driver succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
