Albuquerque, NM (January 23, 2024) – A tragic accident involving a wrong-way driver occurred early on Sunday, January 21, on the southbound on-ramp for Interstate 25 near Paseo Del Norte. A westbound Ford Focus collided head-on with a Honda traveling in the wrong direction.
The collision resulted in the death of a Ford passenger, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers were hospitalized for their injuries. Authorities noted signs of impairment in the Honda driver.
