Albuquerque, NM (February 24, 2024) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Thursday, February 22. The accident occurred at the intersection of Tramway and Manitoba. According to police, the driver, heading north on the Tramway, collided with the pedestrian crossing east to west.
The crash happened despite the pedestrian using the crosswalk and the driver having a green light. Witnesses reported seeing the tragic incident. First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Investigators have found no evidence of speeding or alcohol involvement.
