Albuquerque, NM (May 16, 2024) – A crash on northbound I-25 at Coal Ave caused injuries and closed lanes for hours on Thursday, May 16. The accident occurred just before 8:30 a.m., involving a transfer dump truck that tipped over and a white sedan.
Authorities diverted traffic away from the interstate while crews worked to clear the scene. The NMDOT cameras showed significant backups near Sunport Blvd, about 2-3 miles south of the crash.
