Albuquerque, NM – Fatal Injuries in Hit-and-Run Accident on Harper Dr NE Near San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (June 17, 2024) – A woman died in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning, June 16, on Harper Dr NE near San Mateo Blvd NE.

The Albuquerque Police Department reported that a dark two-door vehicle struck a woman, approximately 25-30 years old, around 4 a.m. The vehicle fled westbound on Harper Dr NE after hitting the woman.

Police have not identified the pedestrian or the vehicle involved. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
