Hobbs, NM (August 19, 2024) – Robert James Gibson, 57, from Hobbs, died after his motorcycle veered off the road and rolled over. The crash occurred on Saturday, August 17, around 9:30 p.m. on Nadine Rd near the state line.
Gibson was riding a 2013 Harley Davidson Street Glide when he lost control. He was travelling westbound at a speed deemed unsafe for the curve. Emergency services transported Gibson to Covenant Hospital in Hobbs, where he was pronounced dead.
