Albuquerque, NM (August 31, 2023) – A car accident happened on Interstate 40 WB near 2nd Street on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, around 9:33 p.m.
At least one person sustained injuries.
Paramedics quickly arrived to treat the injured.
Victims were transported to nearby hospitals for care. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
Interstate 40 WB was shut for hours during the emergency response.
Tow trucks cleared the wreckage and reopened the road later.
The investigation is still ongoing.
