Albuquerque, NM – Hit-and-Run Crash at Odelia Road and Edith Boulevard Leads to One Fatality

Albuquerque, NM (August 31, 2023) – A hit-and-run occurred at the Odelia Road and Edith Boulevard intersection on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

A BMW SUV rear-ended a motorcycle just past midnight. The motorcycle got dragged for half a mile on Broadway Boulevard. The impact ejected the rider.

The rider, later taken to a hospital, unfortunately died. The SUV’s three occupants fled on foot, abandoning the stolen vehicle.

Charges regarding the accident are pending.

The investigation is still ongoing.
