Santa Fe, NM (August 24, 2023) – A tragic incident took place on Monday, August 21, 2023. Santa Fe officials reported a deadly crash involving a pedestrian.
Santa Fe Police revealed a pedestrian, beside a car on the road’s right, suddenly ran across three traffic lanes.
A minor, driving in the left lane, spotted the man too late to stop.
After hitting the man, the driver immediately pulled over.
Isaac Edward John Trujillo, 42, from the Ohkay Owingeh region, was the deceased. Meanwhile, authorities transported the driver to a hospital and discharged him that evening.
The investigation is still ongoing.
