Mescalero, NM (September 20, 2024) – A single-vehicle crash occurred on Highway 70 near mile marker 246, close to the Inn of the Mountain Gods, on Wednesday. The vehicle, engulfed in flames, left several people injured, according to the New Mexico Department of Public Safety.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident and the number of passengers involved. The conditions of those injured have not yet been confirmed.
